I am being rescued by God.  I am married to Jeanie.  We love Koby, Keaton, and Pryce. 

I teach the Bible, lead wounded people, and follow imperfect leaders at a church.  I have an office with a coffee bean grinder and one-cup brewer.  I believe the church, where Jesus is the leader, is the one movement through which God rescues people making them messengers of His tendency to rescue. 

I like to think new thoughts.  I like to string thoughts together in my head that when heard may mean something beyond this life.  Reading and good conversation energize me.

I think the narratives, the poetry, and the propositions of the Bible are sufficient.  The words of the Bible are the conduit through which God has chosen to reveal Himself as worthy of my money, my time, and my energy.

I think that it wise to abstain from some things even if it is not commanded in the Bible.  I do not like it when people says things are commanded in the Bible when they are not just because they feel strongly about those things. 

I wake up with thoughts of doing something great for God.  I like music where I can lean my head back and think about things worth thinking about.  I like to feel healthy.

I believe good relationships are a worthwhile reason to sacrifice, argue, and love.
